Its worthy of a comeback: New York -Fun , FREE and easy things to do - Coney Island

Just a subway away from midtown Manhattan is New York's Coney Island beach and boardwalk amusement park. Subway N and R lines can bring you straight to this getaway theme park for only about 45 mins. The subway would cost you only $2.75 per ride ( one way ) and what's even better is that Coney Island doesn't have an entrance fee like what most theme parks do. You only pay per ride or per game.
If your not a fan of roller coaster or other amusement park rides, you can just stroll along the board walk or enjoy walking on the sand on a lazy afternoon!

Do not forget to grab a snack at Nathan's. They say they have the best hotdogs in the island and lobster salad. This famous food shack won't break your budget too. Meals with fries and drink will cost only about $5-$10.
